"The Twinning Project ITALY-USA" was born in 2020 as a project purely focused on cultural exchange between high schools located in two different countries. The project has purely educational purposes and is intended for students and for the promotion of the Italian and English languages, history, culture, art, music and everything that represents Italy in the world versus the USA, including the military part with our Excellencies at the head of important positions. The motion of our project is: "Listening and Listening to Each Other".

In "Twinning Project Italy-USA" associates and professionals with different skills but united by the desire to transmit and communicate a common vision of beauty, ofgenius loci that is, the set of socio-cultural, architectural, communicative and behavioral characteristics that distinguish the "Bel Paese"; encouraging intercultural exchanges between the two countries, sometimes awarding scholarships orgrantto deserving American and Italian students. 

 

"Twinning Project Italy-USA" sees a profound cohesion between the institutional, cultural and private parties with the common aim of promoting the territory and culture in an Italian-American liason supported by professionals, teachers and cultural associations.  
 
Over the past two years, the twinned schools, located in Liguria and Maryland, have had the opportunity to get to know more closely the Navy which, by a beautiful coincidence, joins the Academy of Annapolis, in the port of La Spezia (province in which the twinned Italian school was located), the Varignano, the Amerigo Vespucci and our beautiful Liguria, which has always been the land of sailors and great explorers.
 

In the 2021-2022 academic year, three scholarships were awarded, and in 2022-2023 two scholarships and two grants were awarded, one for Merit and one for Reception.
