I was born and raised in Bergamo and arrived in Washington DC in December 2009.  From 2012 to 2017 I carried out the Nati Per Leggere Washington DC project, reading aloud in Italian to children in public libraries in DC, MD and VA.

My passion for teaching continued with the promotion of the Italian language and culture to children in several local associations in DC and MD and for a private elementary school.
I like reading, baking cakes with my children, going to museums, the theater, the opera and taking photographs.
I am a sunny person, who likes to live in a positive way.

I strongly believe that a smile, even with your eyes, is always worth more than any word.

I was born in Benevento,
a music, dance and art lover.
I graduated in literary subjects from Suor Orsola Benincasa in Naples, I am a freelance journalist.
In Italy I worked as a presenter on a local broadcaster in Latina and Rome.
I taught Italian, history and geography at middle and high schools in my adopted city, Latina.
I obtained the certification of "Professional civil mediator" at ADR Futura in Latina.
At the same time I was manager ofTamtamcommunication, a marketing and communications agency, a family business, where I was responsible for communications and the creation of commercials.

Together with my husband we decided to open a business in the United States where I now live with my family.
My motto "Never place limits on knowledge".

I'm from Parma, the city of Italian food par excellence and music, but I've lived in Washington DC since 2017.

I have a degree in Communication Sciences and a diploma in guitar, and I have taught musical disciplines in elementary schools in Italy. I then dedicated myself to the digital world for a few years, and still today I follow digital communication projects even remotely.
However, I have never abandoned working with children and young people, with whom I really enjoy relating and from whom I realize that I always learn something not only about them but also about myself.
For a few years I have been dealing with  of educational projects in the cultural and musical fields, but it was upon arrival in Washington that I resumed actual teaching with Casa Italiana. I'm very excited to work with kids who are learning or strengthening their knowledge of the Italian language and culture!

I was born and raised in Bologna, my favorite city, where I studied until university. After my first humanities degree, I obtained a master's degree in Italian teaching at the Catholic University of Milan. From that moment on I have always traveled and taught children from 4 continents: Europe, Africa, South America and North America. Today my life is always on the move even if in a different way: I have two lively children that I adore and a job that I love... teaching! I have taught Italian to elementary school children in Maryland where I am certified as a teacher of Italian, English as a second language and special education. In addition to teaching at Casa Italiana, I work full time in a bilingual English/Spanish elementary school as a special education teacher and am a student at George Mason University in applied behavior analysis-ABA.

Italy and Italian are always my passion!

My name is Alessandra Rosetti, I was born in Macerata, in the Marche region, where the sea embraces green mountains and rolling hills. I have lived abroad for 16 years and have taught Italian in Canada, passing through California up to Virginia.
I have a master's degree in Communication and teaching is my passion.

I had the great pleasure of promoting
the Italian language and culture in Canada and America working in both academic and private fields.
My motto is: "No lesson will ever be boring if you have fun while learning!"

As a good Italian, I have a great passion for cooking. I like to experiment with new dishes, rummage through
old recipes from my grandmothers and re-propose the typical dishes of my beloved brands.
I look forward to seeing many of you in class!

My name is Sofia De Falco, I was born in Naples and I have lived in the United States for a long time.

I graduated in foreign languages and literature from the University of Naples Federico II, the first state university in the world.

I love teaching the Italian language and have been fortunate enough to teach and pass on knowledge of my language and Italian culture around the United States during my various travels.

I really enjoy travelling, reading, playing sports, volunteering, hiking and spending time surrounded by nature with my family and dogs, and obviously I love good food!

Long live Italy!

I was born in Venezuela and moved to Rome, Italy at a very young age, where I grew up and studied.
I have always loved traveling and I have managed to do it both for work and for pleasure.

I have been living abroad with my husband and two children for almost 10 years now and perhaps this makes me appreciate the good and beauty of our country even more. I am very grateful to Casa Italiana and to all of you for giving me the opportunity to teach our beautiful language to our kids.
