AP Italian for native speakers
It is important that all native Italian speaking students take the AP (Advanced Placement) exam in Italian. Not only does it demonstrate their in-depth knowledge of the language and culture, but it also gives them the opportunity to earn college credit.
You can enroll in an Italian university if you have aHigh School Diploma and if they have been passed at least 3 Advanced Placement Courses (APs) with a score between 3 and 5,in 2 different subjects and relevant to the chosen course of study, and one in Italian (for students NOT of Italian citizenship).

Important:
Each individual student MUST REGISTER INDEPENDENTLY for the EXAM by contacting the "AP coordinators" of their school. Casa Italiana enrolls kids in the preparation course, it cannot enroll kids in the exam, which instead must be done at the College Board with the help of the AP coordinator (even if your school does not offer AP Italian).
